In anticipation of the arrival of my new purchase of the entire Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium Package (yes, the whole kit and caboodle!):

* InDesign CS4
* Photoshop CS4 Extended
* Illustrator CS4
* Flash CS4 Professional
* Dreamweaver CS4
* Fireworks CS4
* Acrobat 9 Pro

and also me getting an iMac with 4 Gigs of RAM (and in a couple months, a tablet PC through school) I'm doing a celebratory Happy Dance

Also, I am really getting into my Creative Writing class through the university. We just finished up our Fiction/Short Story section and it has really gotten me pumped to work on my novels again, and I also found a few new ideas floating around in my head. With any luck I will get some spare time to write soon, though that seems unlikely with the massive amounts of homework that I have been getting.



Wednesday I get to go and do a special early registration at the college I'm going to next year since I am an Honors Scholarship recipient. With any luck, I will get some good classes in my intended major (Digital Arts and Design). However, though I love messing around with Photoshop and webdesign and all that and I am super excited to finally be getting those programs, I may not stay with it for a career. The pay is not all that great and I may find that I do not like it as much once it is for a class. But as for now, I'm going to see how it goes. I can always change my mind. That's why I love Electives

I am told my iMac has a built in webcam and speakers, and also it has wireless internet. If the latter is true, I will be updating here a lot more often since I will be able to get on the internet in my bedroom instead of freezing away in the basement to come online at times like now (quarter after) midnight, my time) when I am supposed to be doing homework. (In this case writing an essay on the comparative and contrasting merits of movies and their source books/comics.) Plus I will be turning stuff out like mad whilst trying out all the awesome Photoshop tutorials I have been hitherto restrained from trying since they did not work with Elements.

Hopefully that was enough babbleing to make up for my over three months of no journal updating. A massive deviation feature is also below.
