My last journal entry was from over 13 months ago. So much for keeping up with things. One of my good friends has recently asked me to read over a novel he's writing - and it's very good. It's making me want to be creative and write again. Who knows, I may actually do it this time!

I haven't been on dA in ages. Probably at least a year. So the other day when I stopped by my page I couldn't quite believe I was seeing that I have been a member of this community for SEVEN YEARS. I used to while away the lunch hours in high school viewing the latest comments on my artwork. Now I haven't submitted anything since 2009. It's strange coming back and having so much be exactly like how it was and yet so much different. In my absence I've graduated college with two bachelor's degrees and three minors along with several specializations/certificates. And I even got a big-girl job. When your mood bounces from high to low to up to down and back again? Today is one of those days. The sun is shining, it's gorgeous fall weather outside. I've got no major stressors to speak of and yet my brain can't help but come up with things to make me worry about. And I wouldn't even say I'm worried, per se. Just...agitated? Whiny? Maybe some of all of the above. I'm working on trying to develop a personal website and I'm trying to come up with a good idea for the name/theme. I really love Pirates, but not sure that's a good professional message to be sending - particularly since my future job goals lie in the areas of computer informa
